Iris is the founder and co-CEO of Apps for Good, overseeing the organisation’s strategic expansion.
During 2009, Iris led the initial feasibility study that resulted in the creation of Apps for Good. In 2012 the Observer and Nesta named Iris as one of Britain’s 50 New Radicals for her work with Apps for Good.
Iris has a background in commercial digital media and telecoms consulting, and running business planning and strategy projects, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East for Ovum. She dropped out of an electronic engineering degree but then completed a undergraduate degree in cultural studies in Germany and a master’s degree in Human Rights from the London School of Economics. Iris has 2 young daughters and now lives in Berlin, Germany
