Cloud security study
Cloud-based services have become a common and critical part of enterprise infrastructure, but organisations still struggle to secure them. This latest edition of the Thales Cloud Security Study examines organisations’ challenges, successes and strategic plans related to their cloud-based infrastructure and services.
Bad bot report
This report highlights the significant increase in malicious bot activity, which for the first time in a decade, surpassed human web traffic in 2024, accounting for 37% of all internet traffic. A major driver of this surge is the increased accessibility of AI tools, which have lowered the barrier to entry for cyber attackers, enabling them to create sophisticated and evasive bots at scale.
Healthcare and life sciences - Data threat report
In this report, we share key findings from the 2025 Thales Data Threat Report (DTR) focused on HCLS organizations and examine the differences between HCLS survey respondents and global responses across all industry verticals. Many of the HCLS DTR survey results are similar to overall responses, but we note key differences.
Strengthening Trust
This article explores Thales' groundbreaking work in Post-Quantum Cryptography — from pioneering new encryption standards and hybrid cryptographic solutions to developing quantum-resilient SIMs, passports, and data security systems. As quantum computing looms, Thales shows how proactive innovation and crypto-agility can safeguard global communications, identities, and data against tomorrow’s most powerful threats.
CISO Signals also celebrates the HotTopics Global CISO 100 and Global Future CISO 100, delivered in partnership with Thales.
These awards recognise the security leaders driving real impact across their organisations and the wider industry, from established CISOs operating at the highest level to the next generation already shaping what comes next.
If you know a security leader making a difference, or if that sounds like you, we would love to see them recognised.
Nominations for both awards are now open and close on 1 May 2026
