Laura Gilbert, Chief Analyst and Director of Data Science at 10 Downing Street: Laura was CTO of Rescon Technologies for 9 years from startup to acquisition in 2020, leading a team of developers in building health and wellbeing-related web platforms and apps amongst other things. Laura performed cutting-edge research and analytics on a number of scientific research projects, including building a novel on-the-fly QRS detector and visualisation and analysis of data from genetic research into cell cycles. Laura holds a doctorate in Particle Physics and GRID computing from the University of Oxford, and a bachelor's and master's degree in Physics from the University of Cambridge.
